Proxy Statements

The proxy statement is usually fairly brief and usually invites you to the annual shareholder meeting that only the top people go to, but everyone is invited.

With the proxy statement you can also learn a lot about the company by seeing what is being discussed about the company and seeing financial information about large company transactions and such.

To find the proxy statement, it is good to go to the companies web site and find the investor relations. There is usually a section that has the proxy statements and you will also find the annual report, earnings information, and other events and sec filings.

To search for proxy information on IBM, you might search IBM Proxy Statement. Then you will see all the other links available after you get on the IBM site.
